The ICRview Web App uses a Microsoft provided and sanctioned Internet Browser Add-In Called Silverlight. This add-in increases the performance and capabilities of your browser and provides increased system security.

A.  Installing Silverlight

  1. If the Microsoft provided Silverlight Add-In is not installed. Please «Press» [Install Microsoft Silverlight] to Install.
  2. If a message like [Do you want to run or save Silverlight...exe from ...microsoft.com] appears «Press» [Run]
  3. If a message like [Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer] «Press» [Yes]
  4. When the [Install Silverlight] popup appears, press [Install Now] to take advantage of the increased performance and capability that Silverlight offers.
  5. Press [Close]
  6. Press the «F5» Key to Refresh your Browser Window.

B.  If Microsoft Silverlight is already or has just been installed.

  1. A timer will appear that counts up to 100%
  2. Once the timer shows 100%, «Right»«Click» on the 100% message below.

C.  Should the application happen to already be installed, to install a newer version.

  1. Select [Remove This Application]
  2. When it says [Are you sure you want to permanently remove this application] choose "Yes".
  3. On the screen showing 100% «Right»«Click» on the screen one more time.

D.  Otherwise, at this point

  1. Select [Install ICRview Application onto this computer...]
  2. Click [Install]

E.  If you were provided a link that requires you enter your UserName and Password.

  1. Enter the user name you are provided.
  2. Enter the password you are provided.
  3. Check-On the [Remember Me] checkbox, so that you don’t need type in your Password next time you login.
  4. «Press» [Log in] to go to the Main ICRview Page.

F.  If you were provided a link that performs an automated login.

  1. You will see main screen.
  2. Optionally you will see a presentation in progress.

G.  At this point.

  1. You can close this browser window once the Main screen appears, as ICRview now running in its own window.
Silverlight has placed an ICON named [ICRview] onto your Desktop. To view images and presentations in ICRview after this initial install or reinstall, select the [ICRview] icon from your Desktop to go directly to the login, or directly to the Main ICRview screen. Using the desktop icon bypasses the need to open a browser and follow the initial one time install steps listed above.
